LUXATING PATELLA

A Luxating Patella is a condition where the kneecap 'jumps' out of the groove where it usually sits. It should ride smoothly up and down in the groove but in a luxating patella the bone jumps out of this groove, usually towards the inside of the knee. It may only affect one knee.
